Rare Visconti Rembrandt Fountain Pen - Special Ops (forest green and gunmetal)

Description: This discontinued colorway of the popular Visconti Rembrandt fountain pen features a blend of beautiful forest greens with gunmetal to black trim, reminiscent of camouflage and military tactical gear. Its fine (F) nib is black PVD-coated steel. The pen comes with the same shape and design as other Visconti Rembrandt pens and has the same magnetic cap for easy removal. The Visconti arc shaped clip is coated in black PVD and the spring mechanism has been restyled, making it virtually indestructible. The cap and barrel snap together easily with a unique magnetic lock. The pen comes with a Visconti ink cartridge converter but accepts any standard international cartridge or cartridge converter. It was dropped once, which produced some hairline cracks that were then professionally repaired by Coles of London. I've attempted to show them in the pictures, but they are hard to see. It has a great weight in the hand, and the feel of the magnetic cap closure is satisfying. The writing sample is on Mnemosyne paper with Diamine Mistletoe ink, a great match for the body color. I've kept this pen for a while because I love the color and it's no longer manufactured, but I've found I just don't reach for it and decided it's time to find someone who will appreciate it more.
