Comes with no instructions on how to keep in place. Rated by Nice Ol Dave on August 07, 2020 Summary: I used this sleeve over a T5 input shaft bearing retainer while adapting it to my 49 Ford flathead V8. The sleeve slipped easily on and off the retainer, so I had to figure out how to keep it in place as the throw out bearing retained slides on it. After considering many options I finally drilled a hole through it and the retainer and drove in a rolled pin. Then ground off the pin flush with the surface. If it had been a couple thousandths undersized on the inside I could have heated it in my oven and shrink fitted it in place. Yes, I recommend this product. Rated by Frank L on January 30, 2019 Summary: This thing is great for T5 conversions for early fords. I could machine it but its cheaper than my time to buy it! Its my 2nd one so I can swap a different T5 into the truck without trying to get it off the other one. The install is straight forward but it helps to have the transmission cold and a little heat on the sleeve and it goes together like butter. Yes, I recommend this product. Works great...
