Description: Did your Subaru's gas cap lanyard / tether / leash / fuel filler cap strap break? Ours did shortly after buying it... Not the end of the world but certainly annoying. And to make matters worse you can only buy the whole gas cap and lanyard assembly from the dealer! Not satisfied with that option, my wife and I created this upgraded replacement gas cap lanyard. It's 3D printed using polyurethane and it's both stronger and more flexible than the original. This replacement is designed to fit Subaru's from 2004-2011 that have the larger (2.75" / 70mm diameter) OEM gas cap with the groove around it. It does not fit any aftermarket gas caps, only the original Subaru gas cap. Installation is simple, but please note you do need to re-use the existing pin on the gas flap door. This listing is for a Black lanyard. No gas cap or attachment pin is included.
