Description: Historic Rolex Prince Elegant Gents Watch in housed in a Rolex signed 9 carat yellow gold Case bearing hallmarks for Glasgow dating to 1936. This wonderful collectors time piece carries the original dial bearing authorised dealer ‘Grant & Son’ signature. Grant & Son were based in Sunderland England. Recently serviced by a master horologist, keeping good time and in superb running order ready to treasure and enjoy! Fully functional subsidiary seconds sub dial. Dial has patina and marks all over commensurate with age related wear. The numerals appear to have been retouched at some stage in the past which is common on watches of this age. Please observe photographs carefully. Original Crystal: The crystal has light hairline scratches not noticeable to the naked eye unless under magnification- Generally in good condition for the age. Original Case: 9 carat solid gold double stepped tonneau case. 22mm wide excluding crown x 36mm in length including lugs. The case is in solid condition. Lugs are in good condition which demonstrates the watch has been carefully worn. Has surface scratches commensurate with age and wear. Original Case Back Cover Outer: Snap back solid gold brushed case clicks open with a satisfying pop, has surface scratches commensurate with age and wear. The case back cover fits perfectly flush - Numbered 23282 2387. In good overall vintage condition. Please observe photos.
