Description: VTG REPLOGLE WORLD GLOBE BRASS METAL 1940S TO 1958. This item originally sold as a globe/atlas set. See pic 2 for the advertisement. This has paper panels. The meridian is brass finished. Nice patina on the brass. Sits on a metal base with a walnut grain finish. Globe shows the USSR. Korea as one country dates after 1945. Ghana shows as The Gold Coast which dates it to before 1957. That's where I'm getting my time period the globe was made. The base has an opening for an atlas. I regret the atlas isn't here to be included. There are 2 tiny spots of missing paper on the very bottom underside of the globe. Overall really good to excellent condition. About 80 yrs old.
