His article is drawn from a book that Holt, Rinehart and Winston will publish later this month .... JOHN BOWERS, while interviewing Mary Tyler Moore, used a tecnique he picked up from Truman Capote. The method consists of revealing facts about oneself which correspond to those one wants to elicit from the other person. For example, Bowers confided to the actress that he began his writing career to impress a girl. Miss Moore replied that she acted only to please herself.
