Description: Up for sale is a Seiko A829-6040 Silverwave from Apr. 1982. This one has been disassembled, cleaned and serviced with all new gaskets. All functions work as they should and it comes on a very rare NOS original strap. The Silverwave models are known to be much rarer and nicer (dial and bezel) than the regular A829s and getting it on the original strap is next to impossible to find. Case: Excellent shape with wear here and there but overall very nice given the age. Gaskets all replaced. Bezel: Clicks and changes functions very nicely. Very nice with only very minor wear. Dial: Excellent condition. Crystal: Original and in good condition. I can't see any scratches. Movement: Keeping good quartz time and all functions work as expected including sound. Strap: NOS original strap.
