Description: This stunning Japanese Coin pendant was hand cut from a coin minted in Japan in 1835. The coin was a 100 Mon and was used on the islands of Ryukyu which today is Okinawa. The design is a very unique oblong shape which was common back in the early 1800,s. Of all the piece I have done over the years this has always been one of my favorites. The pendant is on the large side measuring 1 13/4"s long. It looks beautiful being worn longer over clothing and works for either a man or woman. My wife as well as one of my oldest male friends personally wear this piece. The pendant comes with a sterling silver snake chain that is available in 16", 18", 20", and 24 ", lengths.
