To me, Rykiel’s stripes of bold color against black are her most iconic look, tho some would point to the velour jackets, skirts and pants she pioneered in the late 1970s and early 1980s when knits were slinking out of the underwear drawer for the first time. This is 70 percent wool and 30 percent cashmere in a fine gauge, not-so-thick knit that’s comfortable indoors and can even stand a layer over it. Burgundy, fuschia and red stripes with black separating them. SR in diamantes at the hem. Exposed but finished seam detail at the shoulders and sleeve seams, but side seams are finished on the inside. Clean, no damage or stains, unscented, no fuzz or signs of wear. Has been handwashed, so it shouldn’t change shape when you do. Let me know if you want instructions. 36” around the underarms, 34” around the waist, 35” around the hem; 22” from top of shoulder to hem. It measures 15” across the shoulders and sleeves are 24” long. I provide all this information so that you can get it and love it, so I hope you use it.
