Born in Santa Monica, California in the 1960s, she moved to New York at the age of two. She began her creative career at the age of 14, and she was based in Greenwich Village, the birthplace of culture. Released on the A & M label, this work captures her stance as a 25-year-old singer-songwriter with a keen sensitivity. Produced by Lenny Kaye, a Patti Smith sect known as the pioneer of American punk. Her expressive songs, accompanied by her backing band and playing acoustic guitar, inevitably resonate with her listeners. She's been influenced by the beat generation to a large extent, and it's also a listening point that her songs always have a rebellious spirit. You can feel her unique lyrics between her rhyming lyrics and her lines. Her singing style, which seemed to sublimate her poetry reading, attracted attention at the time. This SACD / CD hybrid board has been commercialized by flat transfer from analog master tapes stored in the United States. The engineer is Robert Vosgien, a veteran of Capitol Studios. Shinichiro Kobayashi's new liner notes reveal the history of Greenwich Village, where the singer Suzanne Vega was born, the atmosphere of the time, and the listening to discs unique to this edition.
