Description: Up for sale is a TEPCO “Early California” Tumbler/Vase. Approximate measurements: Height 6.75” mouth width 3” Base width 1.5”. As with most if not all these vases with a very narrow base, the TEPCO stamp does not appear, however, I will guarantee this to be TEPCO. In the photo of the inside of the cup it appears stained or dirty, this is not the case, it is actually just shadowing. Sorry I couldn’t get better quality photos. If additional photos required please let me know. For anyone interested in the TEPCO brand, there is a very interesting video on (you)tube showing production methods in the 1940s. I have 10 of these exact same type vases available, which I will be listing one at a time. You will receive the exact item shown in the above photos. If you would like to purchase several of these vases let me know and I will send additional photos of the other vases. Some may have very small manufacturing defects such as the white spot on the bottom of this one which appears to be excess clay(?) but does not take away from the displayability of this item.
