Unique 90-Yr-Old Museum Collection of the Dionne Quins First Quintuplets Ever!

Description: Dionne Quins Collection This is pretty much a definitive collection of the news, articles and feature stories done about these quintuplets, the first set known to have survived in all of human history up to that point. This Collection is worthy of a museum display. The framed print is a Palmolive soap advertisement from the July 10, 1937 Saturday Evening Post. The Click magazine is from June 1940. It is in excellent condition with all pages intact, although some pages are beginning to separate from the top of the magazine down to nearly the middle. But each page is solid. It has a 10-page feature article on the quintuplets, plus lots of recognizable celebrities and News from the beginning of World War II. My grandmother began collecting news articles about the first quintuplets in history to survive birth when she, herself, who is in her early teens. It was quite a phenomenon back in the mid-30s. The colorful church fan is from the Kentucky White Swan laundry and dry cleaners in Henderson, Kentucky, which is both of our hometowns. There are several bonuses in this, including the rest of the unpictured pages of Click magazine. As you can see, she clipped every article she could find from the newspapers going back to the mid-30s when they were first born. The collection also includes some Norman Rockwells taken out of the Saturday evening post, no doubt, and other newspaper and magazine clippings from my grandmother’s scrapbook.
