Since tokens were distributed and dispensed in packaging provided by the manufacturers, this catalog includes information about these wrappers and boxes. This packaging is collectible in its own right, but also printed wrappers and cartons provide important clues to the identity of manufacturers of various types of tokens. This book also includes anti-tax exonumia such as anti-sales tax tokens and pinbacks as well as replicas, souvenir cards and tokens, personal tokens having some relationships to the field, and other relevant materials.
