We use a coconut soy blend wax and all essential oils for our candle line. 8 oz net weight Candle Burning Instructions After you burn your soy candle it is a completely normal characteristic for it to look rough after the wax cools. This is typical with all soy candles. Did you know there is a proper way to burn your candle to prolong its life? Candles have something called wax memory, so the first time you burn your candle you want to burn it until the wax melts all the way across the top of the candle to the sides of the container. This usually takes anywhere from 1-3 hours the first time you burn your candle depending on the candle size, this is only for the first initial burn. Burning your candles for less time than this will cause the candle to create a memory ring where it burned last causing your candle to tunnel down and shorten its total burn time. Always trim the wick back after burning it each time to help it burn more cleanly and give you a longer lasting burn time. Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. All our product are handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality. We only organic and natural ingredients and never use any cheap fillers artificial dyes or fragrances.
