Description: This bushcraft knife is light enough to carry comfortably but long and strong enough for hunting as well as heavy bushcraft tasks such as firewood preparation, including batoning. This one is wider version for those who want a little more blade for skinning and cooking. These knives are made for hard use. I make the blades the handles and the sheaths myself. They are not stainless. They are carbon steel and thus, will stain and need to be oiled and maintained. However, they will hold an edge better than most types of stainless steel. I make the blades one or two at a time, hand-grind and carefully temper them. This knife, like all my knives, comes with a cowhide sheath that is stitched by hand with a true saddle stitch.
