The unit comes equipped with a 50-CFM 3.5-sones motor that is permanently lubricated so that it will not get louder over time. Galvanized steel housing on the fan is reinforced to resist humid conditions and changing attic temperatures. This bath fan is approved for use over tubs and showers when connected to a GFCI-protected branch circuit. Cover up to 60 square feet of living space with this fan that has been independently tested for CFM and noise levels. The 4-inch duct adaptor with built-in damper also reduces rattle noise and prevents back drafts from entering the room.
