Description: I have had this piece for a very long time. Over the years I have tried to find another with no success. It is a very unique piece being both the salt and pepper. It is from the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic games. There are absolutely no chips cracks or flea bites. There is a small amount of tarnish on the top shaker part. I have made no attempt tp clean this item but prefer to let the new owner decide. Straight thru the center of the shaker the vessel is divided. One side being smaller salt holes - the other side larger pepper holes. You must depress one side or the other to shake the grain out. It's pretty cool. When not depressed it is in a closed position. Perhaps it was a picnic item that would not spill? It measures 3 1/2" tall. It measures 1 3/4" across the bottom. On the bottom it says PAT APPLD. If you look at the picture of the bottom I hope you can see the glass divider as it runs exactly under the words. It is also very heavy even empty weighing 6.20 oz. Of course it is the only one I have. Trust me - this is a very rare find.
