Description: A classic 1930s fall dress! Made from dark brown rayon crepe, the dress has long, pleated, batwing sleeves with covered buttons at the shoulders and a slim, midi length skirt with some front pleating. It features flattering seaming at the waist and hips as well as an attached back belt. Back button / side snap closure. Clean and ready to wear! The dress is in nice condition for its age, but does have some flaws. The color has faded to be more reddish around the neckline / upper shoulder area and there are some more overt faded circles near the neckline (which could be covered with an collar). There must have been some additional stitching or pleating at the shoulders at one time as there are some scattered little holes across the shoulders / upper sleeve. I have mended a few other holes including several on the front waist and upper back. One of the back buttons shows some wear. The original belt buckle was damaged and has been replaced. Presents nicely!! Sold as-is. Fits as shown on a size extra small/small dress from that measures 33.5” - 24” - 35” Please view all photos carefully. This is a flawed item that is being sold as-is.
