Description: Original design drawing from an F.I.T. student portfolio. The portfolio contained architectural and Interior design paintings, drawings, collages and blueprints done by the same student, Eileen Benson, from 1970 to 1972. Eileen Benson graduated F.I.T. in May of 1972. This piece depicts a design drawing of a New York City penthouse apartment rooftop garden. Boasts great mid century modern style furniture and the NYC skyline in the background. Very well done with clean lines and pleasing detail. Medium is ink and marker on thin paper backed with rigid paper board. Matted with a sky blue mat which is not attached and signed “Eileen Lucas” on the verso. In Very Good overall condition, clean and crisp. Small dog-earred corner to the bottom left and a small tear. This piece came from the student portfolio of a Fashion Institute Of Technology student who graduated in 1972. Ready for framing.
