Description: I believe these all-original swivel chairs to be a Craft Associates, Adrian Pearsall design. It was typical of Pearsall to use the same design on different bases. This design would have originally been on a triangular, walnut base. (See photo above). But later, he added a heavy aluminum base to gave the option of swivel chairs as you see in this auction. The vermillion-colored, faux fur fabric is original and in great shape. There is only one small vertical tear below the seat line in one of the chairs as pictured above. Otherwise, no other tears and no fraying on either chair. They do need to be professionally cleaned as there are some very slight seat stains which only catch the eye if one really looks for them. Overall, these are a great set of chairs, in great vintage condition. These chairs are extremely comfortable and the swivel mechanism glides very smoothly, effortlessly and noiselessly.If you're looking for a pair of retro stylish chairs that scream Mid Century Modern, then maybe this pair of fantastic chairs is for you!
