Description: Here we have two large Sketch Books of the Senate House Cambridge and Historical account in a small book The original Architect of The Senate House Cambridge was James Gibbs the building was studied by the student and excellent spot sketches made These were for a student of The South Wales Institute of Architecture (Central Branch) for the Measured drawings competition 1945 Archimedian The two large green books contain Spot Sketches and are titled book 1 and 2 The larger books measure 37 x 26.5 cm approx and contain 40 pages of architectural spot sketches in pencil I have not been able to show every page The smaller white booklet contains a 3 page typed Historical account of the Senate House Condition covers have age fading marks but otherwise in good condition.
