Description: Here is a lot of four different blow molded green plastic soldiers. They must have been dimestore bin toys, as each has "10" written on their bases in black grease pencil. Not sure of the age of these or the country of origin, but I got them in with a collection of toys from a couple of boys whose childhoods were in the fifties and sixties. There are four different poses, ranging in height from 5 1/2 inches to 6 1/2 inches. There is one with a flamethrower, one with machine gun, one throwing grenade, and one with fixed bayonet pointing downward. There is no wording on the figures, not even any indication that they are supposed to be US soldiers, but the color and style of uniform look like US Army to me. I am sure someone out there who collects toy soldiers or plastic figures will be able to identify these, and hopefully you also would like to add a set to your collection. I've priced them reasonably (I found a few of these on eBay, all more than I'm asking, and nobody had the bayonetting pose). Photos from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference, plus a closeup of one base to show the "10" better. (624)
