Description: This is a Vintage Dutch Model K 40mm Gas Mask Filterfor a Military Gas Mask. Made in Netherlands in 1955.Dated 11/55 on the top of the canister. Initials "VB" inside. Label on the bottom, as translated, reads: Left side - "Gas Filter Can K Approved"Right side - "If this seal is broken, this can is no longerusable as a war gas filter can"In the Middle: "M.v.O." on top and "D.M.L." on the bottom.I assume that these are the manufacturer's initials, but couldnot find any info on them.
