Description: Vintage Eveready Tin Lithograph Store Counter Display. Fantastic 1930s display consisting of curved a tin slant front designed to look like stacks of D-cell batteries. In muted blues and oranges, it also features a chevron top spring hinge tin marquee stating “Eveready extra long life flashlight batteries 10¢ each with advertising on both sides. A lower flip-up panel claims, “They’re fresh”. The raising and lowering of this panel corresponds to a stock tray at the reverse for the shopkeeper’s access. And below the shopkeeper’s tray is a bulb drawer. Truly a great counter addition to a general store display. SIZE: 9.25” w x 16” h x 11.25” d CONDITION: Generally good to very good. The colors have faded and there is light allover wear, pitting and oxidation. Perhaps some owners would subject it to some light cleaning, but there is a nice layer of shop patina that seems more appealing as it is.
