Description: Made by Guy Giles Vidal, from his moon crater series, this is a phenomenal Mid Century Modernist Brutalist style oxidized pewter hinged bracelet. The wide three dimensional bracelet has a dark applied patina that enhances the textures and unusual shapes that cover the entire surface. The bracelet has a textured background of closely grooved lines that surround raised oblong, round and square sections that have a shiny border with a black interior and shiny raised dots. It's signed on both panels. The two panels are on a hinge and have an alternating groove and pin clasp with a safety chain. A nice size, the inside circumference is 7 inches( 19 cm circumference). An irregular shape, the inside diameter is approximately 2 1/4 inches wide. It is 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/8 inch thick. It weighs approx. 119 grams. The bracelet is in good vintage condition. The pin and groove clasp is tight and works as it should.
