Description: This is an old handmade Knife in the form of a dagger or stiletto and was ground from a File. Reminds me of a Scottish Dirk but I'll call it a Pigsticker and its intended purpose wasn't for whittling. Knife measures 12.5" overall with the double-edged blade being 8". Blade is stiff with no flex and has a needle point. Some file teeth remain. Handle is dark hardwood in a dogbone shape. Applied brass guard. Looks like lead was poured at the pommel for balance.. Nice handsewn leather sheath with rawhide leg tie. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.
