Description: Vintage Native American Kewa EUGENE & GEORGIA SANCHEZ Picasso Marble Mosaic EARRINGS A beautiful vintage pair of handmade Native American Kewa (formerly known as Santo Domingo Pueblo) mosaic earrings by master Kewa artists Eugene & Georgia Sanchez. These fantastic Modernist color block style earrings are fashioned of rare gray Picasso marble with black veining in rectangular shape with banded mosaic of rolled sterling silver, jet, shell, pipe stone, and turquoise along one edge. These gorgeous mosaics are attached to and suspended as dangles on sterling silver ear wires for pierced ears. Signed by the artists on the reverse near the top as three "dots" in inverse triangular form (see photo). Metal findings tested and hallmarked as sterling silver. These fabulous earrings would make an important addition to any collection of finely crafted Native American jewelry art. Please see extensive photos.
