Description: Vintage New Martinsville Glass Handblown, Footed Swung Bud Vase Amethyst Purple with the Overlapping “NM” Marking on the Bottom. The vase is 8” tall, the base is 2 1/16” in diameter. It was made between 1901-1944 (New Martinsville glass was acquired by Viking in 1944). It is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. However, when you run your finger around the perimeter of the footed base, it has a ‘rough’ feel which I believe is inherent to the piece.
