Description: REDUCED! This vintage sterling silver and turquoise buckle is an example of sandcasting and depicts the "Rainbow Man". The buckle is approximately 3" x 2" and will fit up to a 1.5" belt. It is approximately 60.3 total grams. It is stamped "sterling" but not hallmarked. We purchased this buckle for gallery inventory in 1998 in its present vintage condition and it has been in our inventory, vault since then. It was represented to us as an old pawn piece, likely crafted in the 1960's. Looks to be Navajo but it could have been made by an artist from another tribe. Please examine closely and contact us with any questions. Please follow our store for more contemporary and traditional Native American pieces from a variety of artists and tribal affiliations. American West Boutique was founded in 1992 and is an online seller of Native American Jewelry and Art, cowboy/girl boots, leather and suede and apparel. Shipped to continental US by UPS to street addresses only. No PO boxes, please. Payment must be made in 5 days or item may be relisted. Thank you for viewing!
