Description: Vintage Orchard Industries Action-Rod Model AT-47 with Case ~ MS Condition: Used excellent condition. Rod is in excellent shape with minimal wear. Case is torn/worn at the top left as shown in photos. This premium model Action Rod has a predominately maroon Bakelite two segment handle with two white stripes. The fore-handle and main handle are both Bakelite .... no cork. As with all of the Action Rod handles, it exhibits the obligatory 1,920,966 patent number along with the company name in the reel foot slot. It is a medium action five foot overall length early square metal rod. The wraps are wire wrapped and silver soldered and are in perfect condition. The rod is straight and the silver soldered factory tip is mint. The rod is very popular in our hobby and always makes an attractive display piece.
