Description: You are looking at a RARE, UNUSUAL AND PRIMITIVE PAINTING OF WHAT SEEMS TO BE A SCHOOL OF WHALES. The colors are in greens and blues and black etchings. It is done on a board of some sort. The paint is unknown. The frame is a grayish wood with worm holes. Very nautical. It measures 21 1/4” long, 13 1/2” wide and 1 1/4” deep. It is signed and numbered in the bottom right hand side in front, see pictures. On back there is a label of a framing company and in the upper left hand side, on back, there is a label that reads BONGI- BORN 1916- Florence, Italy. What that has to do with the picture I am not sure. This was bought many years ago at a very small antique center in New York. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES FOR THE DETAILS!!
