Description: Vintage Stangl Type Bird Wall Pockets Here is a pair of cheerful Stangl type ceramic bird Wall Pockets. Transfer printed in many colors of cobalt blue, blue, green, red, yellow, pink, and browns. The birds are perched in a tree hollow with pink dogwood flowers. There is a single hole on the back for easy hanging; however, these can also be placed on a table, etc, as the bases are flat. These pieces are unmarked so the maker is unknown, and were probably produced in the 1950s. Dimensions of Each: 5” W x 2.5” D x 5” H Please ignore any white reflections in the photos. There is a tiny speck of a chip to one bird’s beak, please see the photos, but nothing to diminish the overall display value and use of this set.
