Description: Very neat vintage battery operated Big John the Chimpee Chief drumming monkey toy. Nice clean condition and still in the original box. Does NOT work because it is missing the battery box cover which allows the batteries to complete the current. May work if you can figure out a solution to that. Also needs a replacement drum top but the rubber gasket to hold it in place is still present so that is an easy fix. Plastic headdress is excellent and overall this is a great displaying toy working or not. Box is fully intact but does have some tears and shelf wear visible.
