Description: just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas! This lovely holiday soup or gravy terrine is in good condition. There is grazing on the finish at the bottom of the dish as well as signs of wear in the area where the bow comes into contact with the surface. The detail on this piece is really quite stunning. It comes with the ladle, which is rare as these are usually the first items lost. There is a tiny Nick on the inside of the lid that I have shown in the photographs. The photograph where I show this has been magnified three times in order to let the potential buyer see this very small imperfection. I do not know the age of this piece. But I acquired it from a lovely 90-year-old woman who shared that she has used it to serve her Thanksgiving meals since the time her children were small.
