The pendant has a gold-tone metal and the locket has a snap type closure. It is a locket that can hold pictures, or whatever else you can fit in there. This pendant is original and it is pre-owned, and it is in good used condition, with glue residue on the reverse side, & a touch of fading. Thanks for looking.
