We got it in the 1970s, and it shows some wear and deterioration, mostly on the bottom. The empty box is still very solid, the latch is tight, and still has the original rope handles, please see the pictures. Measures 32” x 11” and 7” high. Part of the stencil markings are worn away, but the front originally said -- 2-CARTRIDGES 4.2 INCH SMOKE WP M328A1 W/FUZE -- M43A3 FOR MORTAR M2 OR M30
