Description: VINTAGE WORLD WAR TWO ERA CANADIAN MILITARY WOLSELEY PATTERN PITH HELMET. I could not find a date inside the helmet so I am not exactly sure of the vintage - I would suspect it is of the WWII era. The helmet is free of any cracks, dents, crushes or damage. There is age foxing to the cloth covered material - see photos. The liner is intact & the leather sweatband is in very nice supple condition. The chinstrap is missing. Inside the dome retains the manufacturers label by William Scully Uniform Equipment of Montreal, Canada. The helmet is a larger size. I found a hand written size that looks like it could be 7 3/8 inside the shell - see photo. This size appears to be correct as I wear a slightly larger size 7 1/2 and it fits me but snug.
