Description: This is a vintage 1950's Wales ceramic pixie/elf dressed as a fireman carrying a hose. I've seen another in this series - one carrying an axe and another a ladder, but not the hose. These are very hard to come by, especially in the larger size. This is the larger elf figurine - standing 6 inches tall. There is a lot of detail in the face. All red body with gold metallic details on a heart at the chest, the hose tip, etc. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a bit of missing paint on the helmet in back at the rim. (Photographed). *There are areas in the photos that may appear to be misses in the paint but are actually just reflections of the light due to the gloss of the paint.* The only area of paint loss noted is on the helmet at the rim.
