Description: This listing is for a RARE antique Presidential Cookbook that is adapted from the White House Cook Book. As you can see in the photos, this is still readable, but many pages are brittle / falling apart and the binding is loose. The back cover appears to be gone (5th photo). This was published by the Werner Company and there is a year written down on the front cover of 1896 as shown in the 6th photo. I am assuming this was the year that this was published but do not know for sure. This is a rare find for any cookbook collector. This cookbook is perfect for anyone interested in the history of cookbooks and the cuisine of the Presidential era.
