Description: Vintage MCM Federal Glass Co Milk Glass Pedestal Mug in Danish Rooster pattern made in Ohio USA during the 1960's. The mug stands 5 1/2" tall, is 3 3/4" from rim to handle and is 2 5/8" in diameter. The pedestal base is 2 5/8" in diameter. The mug can hold 6-8 fluid ounces. The design that circles the mug is a stylized rooster in turquoise and white. It has alternating blocks with the rooster in reverse white and turquoise. The handle is an angular "D" style. The pedestal base has concentric ridges around it. The mug is a discontinued pattern and is in excellent undamaged condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites or staining. Great to add to a set or pretty to display in a Mid-Century Modern kitchen.
