Schneider worked on 101 Dalmatians and several other Disney animated projects during her 16 years with the studio. In 1970, she served as a key assistant animator with art director Walt Peregoy on the 1970 animated film, Santa and the Three Bears. In retirement she moved to New Orleans and was one of the survivors who refused to leave their homes during hurricane Katrina (August 2005).
