Description: Wild Hops Seed (Humulus Lupulus) This is seed from a wild hops that I found growing in Kansas near my farm. The flower cones are large and have a wonderful aroma and flavor. I like it so much that I am now growing it on my own property. Like many perennials, hops seed needs a period of cold scarification before it will germinate. A good method is to put seeds in an equal amount of moist sand and refrigerate from one to three months at about 41 degrees F. After that, plant the seeds at 68 degrees F. for one to two months. If the hops seeds have not germinated, put them back in the refrigerator and repeat the cycle. I will gladly combine shipping with other purchases, add items to cart and if the shipping doesn't automatically adjust then request a combined invoice before paying and I will adjust the postage fairly.
