Description: Vintage Winchester Model 1875 second issue Reloading Tool .45-75 WCF. This cartridge was used in the Model 1876 rifle, the Single Shot and possibly others. This antique tool functions well and has more finish than most of these. These were sand cast so surface finish reflects that process. Overall finish is about 20% gold paint, some surface rust spots but no signs of pitting.Patent dates on top of tool are very faint. It has the Berdan cartridge de-primer installed. These early 1875 tools are quite rare in the larger rifle caliber cartridges. Makes a nice display item with a Winchester 1876 rifle.
