The Wurlitzer Model 300 Remote Adapter Assembly is their first solution to adapt their 24 selection manual select models to electric select so that the operator could use selectable wall boxes at his best locations. In 1940 those models consisted of the 1938 models Model 24, Model 24-A, 500, 500-A, 600, 600-A and then current models 700 and 800. I am including a copy of the 26 page "Wurlitzer Instructions for Remote Control Equipment" part number 38981 which details the use and installation of all of their 1940 remote control equipment.The parts offered in this listing should be enough to build a complete Model 300 except for one item which I need to offer in a separate listing. That is a relay box which varies depending on which model is being adapted. Both boxes contain the same relay but the wiring and connection is different. One type is used with the 1938 models mentioned above and the second type is used with the 1940 models 700 and 800. If you will need this junction box please search for "Full Cancel Relay # 33610" in my other listings.These parts will need a lot of work to prepare for installation. To be certain the buyer has enough parts to do the job I am including three junction boxes and two solenoid drum units.
